TMC cries foul over poll violence, candidates say otherwise
Agartala: The conspiracy of the TMC to maglin the image of ruling BJP and administration crossed all limits as they cry foul on realising their defeat in the Urban Local Bodies by alleging booth capturing.
Even though the party has maintained that the massive violence took place across all ULBs, the candidates say otherwise.
Pinki Debbarma, Trinamool Congress candidate for ward number 22. She visited different polling stations and people were casting their votes in a festive manner.
“The votes are being held peacefully and we all the candidates of other political parties are having discussion and are happy that the old tradition of peaceful vote has prevailed this time,” Debbarma said.
Another Trinamool Candidate for ward number 8 said that the voting are being held peacefully and voters have casted their votes here without having faced any trouble and she is happy to see the turnout of the voters in large numbers.
