Three Bangladeshi citizens including a women, arrested from Chandrapur ISBT bus stand.

In the capital, three Bangladeshi citizens, including a woman, were arrested again. On Wednesday afternoon, based on secret information, the East Police Station arrested them from Chandrapur ISBT bus stand in Agartala. On Wednesday itself, they had illegally entered Sonamura through the Comilla border. From there, they traveled by car to Badarghat railway station. However, there was no outbound train at that time. Therefore, they came to Chandrapur ISBT bus stand intending to leave the state by road. Locals became suspicious after seeing a woman and two men wandering around. The locals informed SI Dilip Das, who was on duty at the ISBT stand. SI Dilip Das reported the matter to East Police Station OC Sanjit Sen. Upon receiving the information, a large police force from East Police Station reached the Chandrapur ISBT bus stand. They detained and interrogated them. During the interrogation, they admitted to the police that they had come to Agartala illegally from Bangladesh intending to go to Punjab. On Thursday, East Police Station OC Sanjit Sen informed about this news. The Bangladeshi's are Mohammad Abdullah, Mohammad Noor, and Mrs. Asmaul Hosna.

On this day, East Police Station OC Sanjit Sen said that cases have been filed against the arrested under the Passport Act and various sections of the Indian Penal Code. He informed that the two arrested men would be produced in court on Thursday, seeking a three-day remand. He further stated that the police would try to capture the gang involved in human trafficking by interrogating the arrested individuals.
