Minister Sudhangshu Das Leads Clothing Distribution for Needy on 77th Independence Day .

On the occasion of the 77th Independence Day, a clothing distribution event was organized by the Ambedkar Matru Mission and the Indranagar-based Ambedkar Seva Sangh. The event took place in the premises of the Ambedkar Seva Sangh, where clothes were distributed among the underprivileged on Tuesday. Alongside the clothing distribution, discussions were held on various topics including social justice, community service, and social awareness.

Present at this significant event were Sudhangshu Das, Minister of Fisheries, Animal Wealth Development, and Tribal Welfare Department, Corporator Sampa Sarkar of Agartala Municipal Corporation, Nepal Chandra Das, Editor of the Indranagar Seva Sangh, and others.

During the event, Minister Sudhangshu Das emphasized the importance of providing service to the underprivileged in society. He spoke about Dr. B.R. Ambedkar's visionary initiatives that aimed at not only uplifting the marginalized but also promoting a sense of service-oriented mindset among people. He praised the efforts of the Ambedkar Matru Mission and the Indranagar-based Ambedkar Seva Sangh for their initiatives towards enriching the society.

At the end of the event, in an interview, Minister Sudhangshu Das stated that Dr. B.R. Ambedkar's initiatives in eradicating untouchability and fostering a sense of social consciousness among individuals are still relevant today. He expressed hope that these efforts will convey a profound message to society and contribute to its overall development.
