How Ashtami Sutradhar, health employee has inspired Tripura CM
Agartala: Meet Ashtami Sutradhar, a Group-D employee in the health department who has set examples and inspires people to serve relentlessly and selflessly.
Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb has lauded Ashtami and said she is a real example of selfless service to the society.
CM Deb assured that he will share the inspirational story of Ashtami Sutradhar with the Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
"She pledged to donate blood and save as many lives as possible. Today she donated blood for the sixth time, despite being a Divyang (endowed with special faculties)," Deb wrote.
He also said that he is delighted to meet her at a blood donation camp at the Directorate of Health Services.
"She is an inspiration to millions of people. She is even more special for us as she is working as a group D employee at Anandnagar PHC. Her selfless service inspire us to serve the people relentlessly and selflessly," Deb added.
Ashtami had lost her eyesight at an early age following a disease after which she decided to donate blood every time someone needed.
CM Deb also expressed his gratitude to Vivekananda Vichar Manch for organising a Mega Blood Donation Camp at the Directorate of Health Services and said, "Glad to see people from all walks of life coming forward to this social cause and participating in the blood donation camp enthusiastically."
