Heading- Incidents on the Rise Due to Intensifying Winter in Dharmanagar: Two Accidents Reported in a single Night.

The entire region of Dharmanagar is shrouded like a chilling lunar blanket as the winter's severity increases, contributing to a surge in accidents. On Friday night, two separate incidents unfolded in the city of Dharmnagar, leaving four individuals injured. The initial event occurred around 8 PM in front of the Dharmnagar ISBT (Inter-State Bus Terminal). A collision transpired between an auto-rickshaw originating from Bagbasa and a motorcycle heading from Dharmnagar. The clash resulted in significant injuries to the bike's rider, Ayush Chakraborty, and Digbijoy Das. Upon receiving news of the incident, personnel from the Fire Department promptly arrived at the scene, rescuing the injured and transporting them to the North District Hospital.

However, the auto-rickshaw driver involved in the collision absconded from the scene. Later that night, at around 10:00 PM, another incident unfolded on the road adjacent to the Juri River Bridge near Dharmnagar. Passersby observed a bike with two individuals lying on the road. When the Fire Department was informed, they swiftly reached the location, rescuing two injured persons and recovering the bike. The victims were subsequently taken to the district hospital. Unfortunately, the details surrounding how this accident occurred remain unknown. The escalating number of incidents calls for increased vigilance and safety measures in the Dharmanagar region during the winter season.
