Goodwill gesture: Tripura CM meets ailing ex-minister and veteran CPIM leader Keshab Majumder
Agartala: In a goodwill gesture Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb on Monday inquired after the health conditions of veteran CPIM leader and ex-Minister Keshab Majumder. Majumder was admitted to ILS hospital Agartala with several health complications including chest pain.
On hearing the matter, Deb rushed to the hospital and met Majumder physically. He also talked to the on-duty doctors and told them to take necessary steps. Addressing the media persons in front of the hospital, Deb said, "I know him from my childhood.
He was a good friend of my late father. He has been suffering from several health complications which is usual in this age. But, his spirit is still the same. I hope he recovers soon". Deb also said that his conditions improved a bit.
