France students visit Agartala to get idea on Smart City works

Agartala, May 11: A team of three students from Sciences Po, French visited Agartala and inspected various projects under the the Agartala Smart City Limited (ASCL).
The French students arrived in the city on Sunday to get an idea of the Smart City works being implemented in the city. They left the state on Wednesday morning.
According to sources, as part of their visit to Agartala, the students inspected various Smart City Projects including the Integrated Control and Command Centre (ICCC) and the project site at State Museum (Ujjayanta Palace).
"Students from Sciences Po, France visited Agartala on 8th May to know the details of Haora River Front Development Project sponsored by France Development agency (AFD ) and also to know other projects of Agartala Smart City Mission", an official Facebook post from Smart City Mission said.
They also interacted with the families rehabilitated from the banks of the Howrah River to Radhanagar housing facility under the Howrah Riverfront Development Project.
Besides, they also had discussions with the CEO of ASCL Dr. Shailesh Kumar Yadav on various important matters.
Sources said, the Howrah River Front Development Project is one of the most innovative projects being funded by the French Development Agency and the French students arrived in the city to get an exposure of the works.
