CM MANIK SAHA INAUGURATE FIRST ENGLISH MEDIUM DEGREE COLLEGES IN TRIPURA

The dream of the people of Tripura has now been fulfilled. After a long wait, the first English medium degree college has opened in Tripura. Naturally, a new chapter has begun in the development of Tripura's education sector. Chief Minister Prof. Dr. Manik Saha inaugurated Tripura's first English medium college on Tuesday. Education Minister Ratanlal Nath, former Vice-Chancellor of Tripura University Arunday Saha, Agartala Municipal Corporation Mayor Deepak Majumdar and many others were present on the occasion.
"Education is the society’s backbone. Only education can guide the society towards right direction, enunciated Chief Minister after inaugurating Sri Aurobindo General Degree College at the old DIET building, Kunjaban, Agartala today. He said, this college is the first government English medium College of the state. This is a mentionable step towards higher education in the state.
The Chief Minister more said, "Opening a new college is not an easy task. It was possible to open the college with the tireless efforts of the Education Minister and the department despite all challenges. The government will make more efforts in future towards infrastructural and academic development of the college. Addressing the students".
