Biplab Deb Congratulates Doctors On First Successful Open Heart Surgery, To Felicitate AGMC Team
Agartala: Tripura achieved a milestone in the healthcare sector after successfully conducted first open heart surgery in Govt hospital. Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb congratulated the doctors Agartala Government Medical College and GBP hospital for successfully performing the first Open Heart Surgery. He is all set to felicitate the doctors on their achieving performance on Tuesday afternoon.
Agartala Government Medical College and GBP hospital conducted the first open heart surgery free of cost under the Ayushman Bharat Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana.
Appreciating the big achievement of the state, CM Biplab Deb tweeted that, "Congratulations to the doctors of Agartala Government Medical College and GBP hospital for successfully performing the first Open Heart Surgery. It's a big achievement for Tripura's healthcare. The surgery was performed free of cost under the Ayushman Bharat scheme."
