Tripura CM announce ‘The Kashmir Files’ as tax free 

Agartala: Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb on Monday declared 'The Kashmir Files’ in the state stating that the film depicts the heart wrenching struggle and trauma faced by Kashmiri Hindus.
 
The CM took to officcial Twittter handle and wrote, “#TheKashmirFilesMovie made by
@vivekagnihotri  depicts the heart wrenching struggle and trauma faced by Kashmiri Hindus. To support his movie and encourage the people of the state to watch it, #Tripura govt has decided to make it tax-free in #Tripura.

Earlier, the BJP ruled Karnataka, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Haryana declared the Kashmir Files as Tax free. The film made by Vivek Agnihotri revolves around targeting and harassing the Kashmiri Pandit community by terrorist-affiliated with Pakisan in 1990s.

The film stars Anupam Kher, Darshan Kumar, Mithun Chakraborty, Pallavi Joshi among others.
