SAMAJWADI PARTY SUPREMO MULAYAM SINGH YADAV PASSED AWAY

Delhi, 10-10-22:

Samajwadi Party founder Mulayam Singh Yadav passed away on Monday morning after staying in ICU for a long time in a hospital in Gurugram. Mulayam Singh's son Akhilesh Yadav tweeted the news of his death on today morning. In a tweet Akhilesh said, “My respected father and everyone’s leader is no more.”

 

Mulayam Singh Yadav, was born November 22, 1939, a senior Indian politician and the supremo of the Samajwadi Party. He was a member of Lok Sabha, representing Mainpuri constituency of Uttar Pradesh. The Samajwadi Party (SP) founder and three-time Uttar Pradesh chief minister, Mulayam Singh Yadav.

 

Prime Minister Modi condoled the death of Mulayam Singh Yadav and wrote, "Shri Mulayam Singh Yadav Ji was a remarkable personality. He was widely admired as a humble and grounded leader who was sensitive to people’s problems. He served people diligently and devoted his life towards popularising the ideals of Loknayak JP and Dr. Lohia. 

 

Mulayam Singh Yadav Ji distinguished himself in UP and national politics. He was a key soldier for democracy during the Emergency. As Defence Minister, he worked for a stronger India. His Parliamentary interventions were insightful and emphasised on furthering national interest. 

 

I had many interactions with Mulayam Singh Yadav Ji when we served as Chief Ministers of our respective states. The close association continued and I always looked forward to hearing his views. His demise pains me. Condolences to his family and lakhs of supporters. Om Shanti".

 

President Draupadi Murmu condoled the death of Mulayam Singh Yadav and Wrote, "The demise of Mr. Mulayam Singh Yadav is an irreparable loss to the country. The achievements of Mulayam Singh Yadav ji who came from ordinary environment were extraordinary. 'Son of the earth' Mulayam ji was a legendary leader associated with the land. He was respected by all parties. My deepest condolences to his families and supporters"!
