SEVERAL ALLEGATIONS AGAINST FORMER PM OF PAKISTAN, IMRAN KHAN MAY BE ARRESTED SOON

Former Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan has been booked under the Anti-Terrorism Act for allegedly threatening women judges and senior police officers. Pakistan Tehreek-e- Insaf (PTI) chairman applied to the High Court for pre-arrest bail in this case.
In a rally on Saturday, Imran made this threat due to the arrest and remand torture of Islamabad's Chief of Police (IG), Deputy Chief of Police (Government Staff) Shahbaz Gill.
It has been said in the bail application in the High Court that the government wants to arrest Imran Khan on false charges by violating all limits. FIR filed against him is politically motivated. The petition requested the court to grant bail to Imran Khan.
However, it is not yet known whether the bail application has been put on the agenda for Monday's hearing. The latest news in this regard, Imran Khan has been granted bail by the High Court till next Thursday.
Hundreds of PTI members stood outside Imran's residence in support of the former prime minister on Monday. Party has warned that it will hold nationwide rallies if Imran Khan is arrested.
Pakistan's media regulator banned live broadcasts of Khan's speeches, saying he was spreading 'hate speech' following his remarks at the rally.
